Conference Chair Welcome Message

Dear Esteemed Guests, Researchers, Innovators, and Industry Leaders,

It is a great honor to welcome you to the 3rd World Summit on Crop Science and Engineering (WSCSE-2027).

This summit brings together a dynamic, interdisciplinary community where crop science and engineering converge to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges—food security, climate resilience, and sustainable agriculture. Today, engineering is no longer a supporting element in agriculture; it is a driving force behind its transformation. From precision farming and intelligent machinery to data-driven agronomy and resilient infrastructure, engineering enables scalable, real-world agricultural solutions.

As we look ahead, expanding where and how we farm is just as important as improving how we farm. In regions such as Africa, responsible farmland development—supported by irrigation systems, adaptive mechanization, and climate-resilient technologies—offers immense potential to boost productivity while protecting ecosystems and empowering communities.

My own journey into agriculture, shaped by my experience at WSCSE-2025, highlighted the powerful role of engineering in unlocking innovation. It also led to valuable collaborations that continue to guide my work in precision agriculture and sustainable farmland development through my startup: www.agrismarttech.ca.

WSCSE-2027 promises engaging discussions, cutting-edge research, and meaningful collaborations. Together, we will explore innovations in crop systems, soil health, precision technologies, and sustainable agricultural expansion.

I encourage you to participate actively, share ideas, and help shape solutions that are practical, innovative, and globally impactful.

Welcome, and thank you for being part of this important global gathering.

Conference Co-Chair Welcome Message

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure and deep enthusiasm that we welcome you to 2027 World Summit of Crop Science and Engineering taking place in Valencia, Spain, from February 22-24, 2027. Next year’s gathering brings together brilliant minds, passionate researchers, and dedicated professionals from across the globe to share knowledge, spark collaborations, and inspire innovation in the field of Crop Science and Agricultural Engineering.

Our theme, “Enhanced Food Production, Soil Health, and Engineering”, reflects our shared commitment to advancing science for the benefit of society and serves the world agriculture. Over the summit’s days, you will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking keynote lectures, dynamic panel discussions, and interactive workshops, as well as to connect with colleagues old and new.

On my personal note, and based on my 40 years scientific experience in agricultural machinery development, I strongly believe that conservation agriculture supported by specialized equipment is the key to enhance food production levels without compromising soil Health.

We need to focus to revive highly degraded soils in countries especially in Asia and Africa, to bring crop production to be grown locally by farming communities that benefits their own people.

We encourage you to take full advantage of the scientific program that we are preparing, but also to enjoy the cultural richness and hospitality that Valencia has to offer. May this meeting not only expand your professional horizons but also create lasting friendships and collaborations.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we thank you in advance for your participation and wish you a rewarding, inspiring, and memorable conference experience.
